Embroidery
Ideal for application onto a huge variety of garments from polo shirts to fleeces, caps to sportswear, embroidery instantly adds an impression of quality and style. Up to 15 colours can be included in a single design for no extra set up cost. The embroidery process stitches your design, logo or crest directly onto the garment being embroidered. This will both enhance the appearance of the garment and also outlast the life of the garment. Constructiv carry out all embroidery in-house using fully computerised, 15 colour embroidery machines, ensuring that all embroidery is of the highest quality. Embroidery costs can be split into two sections:
Embroidery Set-Up Charge
This covers the cost of having your design or logo recreated as a stitch file (also known as digitising). This is a one-off charge as all embroidery designs are stored electronically and hence, if you place a repeat order there will be no need to pay the set-up charge again. Artwork is preferably received in jpeg format. Set-up charge is £25 per design (ex VAT).
Embroidery Per Item Charge
This is the cost of applying the embroidery to each item. This price covers costs such as labour, materials and other manufacturing overhead and hence is dependent on the size of the design. The larger the design, the more time and materials it will take to reproduce and hence, the higher the price. The size of designs is measured in stitches. The average company logo is approximately 5000 stitches.
- Up to 5000 stitches- £1.80 per garment
- Between 5,000-10,000 stitches- £2.60 per garment
- Between 10,000-15,000 stitches- £3.30 per garment
- Between 15,000-20,000 stitches- £3.90 per garment
- Over 20,000 stitches- £0.30 per 1000 stitches
