Screen Printing

Screen Printing

Screen printing is ideal for large quantity orders, whether they are small, single colour or large, multi-coloured designs. Screen printing allows large quantity orders to be produced in short turn around times, enabling us to meet the tightest deadlines.

Screens are produced from vector artwork with each screen representing a single colour in the design- the more colours there are in your design, the more screens it will require, and hence, the higher the cost will be. Screens are then loaded onto a carousel and each colour is applied individually to the garment Due to the set up and application charges, screen printing often proves uneconomical for small quantity orders. Customers with small quantity print orders are encouraged to visit our vinyl print and transfer print pages for a more economical alternative.

Similarly to embroidery, screen printing charges are split into two sections:

Screen Set Up Charges

This is a one off set up charge that covers the cost of producing the screen(s) for your required print. The more colours you have in your design, the more screens there will need to be produced, and the higher the set up cost will be. Once set-up, your design will be stored and so if you should ever require a repeat order, you will not need to pay a set up charge again. Screens are charge at £25 per colour to set up.

Printing Charge

This is the cost of actually printing the garment. This is directly related to the number of colours in your design and the number of garments in your order, it is also dependent on the type of garment being printed. Generally, the larger the quantity ordered, the cheaper the printing charge per item.  For a competitive quote please contact us now by phone, fax or email.
